1- Conjugue les verbes entre parenthèses au prétérit simple.

• Last weekend, my sister and I ( visit) London.

• My parents ( have) a lot of work to do at home.

• We (walk) in the city for hours to discover it .

• We also (eat) lots of different things.

• We .... (try) many strange dishes.

• We ( drink) some English tea.

• They (be) delicious.

• On the Saturday evening, we there (not /watch) TV because there ( not/ be) a good movie on.

• It ( be) à great week-end.

• I ( meet) an old friend there. ​

• We drank some English tea.

• They were delicious.

• On the Saturday evening, we didn't watch TV because there wasn't a good movie on.

• It was à great week-end.

• I met an old friend there. 

Explications :

Les verbes au prétérit ont la même forme à toutes les personnes ( donc c'est facile ) sauf  BE ( was/were )

→ verbes réguliers : on ajoute "ed"

- on ajoute juste "d" si le verbe se termine par "e"

- si le verbe se termine par "y" : on ajoute "ed" si le "y" est précédé d'une voyelle ( ex : play : played ) . Si le "y" est précédé d'une consonne, on remplace le "y" par "i" et on ajoute "ed" ( ex : try : tried )

→ verbes irréguliers : par coeur

Forme négative pour tous les verbes, à toutes les personnes  ( sauf BE) :

didn't + BV

Pour BE : wasn't / weren't
